The family of Officer Arthur F. Brice and the Buena Park Police Department invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral services and military honors. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Living in Moreno Valley, Officer Arthur Brice gave back to the community serving as a Reserve Police Officer with the Placentia and Riverside Police Departments, and for the past 11 years with the Buena Park Police Department’s patrol and gang unit. Additionally, Arthur was a member of the Department’s Color Guard.

For more than 20 years, Arthur worked for an emergency services company, first as an EMT, and in recent years, as a business representative to nearby hospitals and convalescent homes.  In his spare time, he taught CPR and first aid classes for the American Red Cross.

Arthur was a genuine, caring, and uplifting presence, always willing to lend a hand or an ear.

Arthur was an Army Veteran and was a member of several strike teams.

Sadly, on 28 SEP 19, at 0500 hrs while driving home from his shift at Buena Park Police Department he lost his life in a traffic accident.

Arthur is remembered as larger than life, a great father, grandfather, and husband.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Kerri; two children, two step-children, grandchildren, and Mother, Laura.

Note:  This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested all are welcome.

You do not have to be a Veteran or motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  Everyone is welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this is your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed by the Rice Captain (R/C).  Dress for motorcycle riding or casually if you are in a car (cage).  No shorts or other inappropriate attire.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
