« on: November 20, 2019, 12:52:56 AM »
The family of Edward Alexander Eilders has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Edward was born on 28 March 1992 and entered into Eternal Rest 29 October 2019.

Edward met his wife Michelle in high school through their respective schools' Navy ROTC Programs.  They married after high school, and during the next 6 months they both reported to boot camp.

Edward served in the US Navy from 2011 to 2017. He was trained as a Fire Controlman.  Edward spent more than 3 1/2 years on the USS Nimitz.  During this period of time, his wife Michelle was also serving on a different Aircraft Carrier.

During his last year in the Navy, Edward was a member of the Navy Honor Guard.

The awards Edward earned include the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medal(2), Navy Pistol Marksmanship Ribbon, Navy Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon. Edward was honorably discharged as a Fire Controlman 2nd Class.

Edward loved working on his truck, and building and purchasing firearms.

Edward is survived by his wife Michelle and daughter Katherine.
