The family of Albert Elmo Heflin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Albert was 80 years old, served his country in the U.S. Army. He served from January 1962 to January 1964, plus four years in the Reserves. He was a part of the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky. Albert was a PFC when he left the Army with an Honorable Discharge in December 1967.  He served during the Vietnam War Era but saw no combat.

Albert’s hobbies were fishing and dune-buggying. It is said that he was always working on a project.

Albert is survived by his wife Carole, his son David, and many in-laws.

The family has requested a Memorial Service at the Elks Lodge in El Cajon.

The Patriot Guard will play Taps, fold the flag and present the flag to the family. This will be done indoors.
