The family of LCpl John M. Griffin, age 21, and the US Marine Corps have invited the PGR to accompany their Hero as he is transported to the airport to be flown home to his family in Missouri for funeral services.  We will be honored to do so.

LCpl John Griffin enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2019 and was serving at MCAGCC at Twentynine Palms, CA with the 7th Marines at the time of his unexpected passing.  He excelled in his MOS and was a social butterfly. He was the life of every party and the friend everyone wish they had. He was an excellent Marine and a even better friend.

John grew up in Missouri where he excelled at sports, especially football.  He graduated High School in 2018 and enlisted in the Corps shortly after.

John is survived by his parents and many other family members, friends and his fellow Marines.  He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home to the airport, a distance of approx 71 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. If you prefer to meet us at the airport we will see you there.
