The family of Morris DeWitt Sale has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Morris was born in Santa Monica on March 27, 1929 and entered into Eternal Rest on August12, 2016 in Palm Springs.

After graduating from Palm Springs High School in 1947 he joined the Marine Corps proudly serving his country from 1947 to 1950.

After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Morris attended UCLA where he studied engineering, business and art. Morris worked as a civil engineer in Los Angeles, Vietnam and Korea.

After retirement, Morris enjoyed raising birds, amphibians, cutting opals, and making wood carvings of birds and animals. He also became a private pilot, taking aerial photography.

Erwin is survived by two daughters and one son. He is also survived by twin sisters, and many cherished family members.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
