The family of Rogerio “Roger” Jonathan Ayala Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his county.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Roger, 38, served in the US Navy from November 2000 to October 2010.  At the time of his discharge he had attained the rank of HM2 (Hospital Corpsman Petty Officer 2nd Class).

Roger served proudly in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.  In post military life Roger was enrolled in college and loved to work out in his spare time.

Roger is survived by his father, Roger Ayala Sr., brothers Rick and Michael Gonzalez and numerous cousins.

This is a Combat Related mission so there will be tags.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the chapel services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
