Per request of our good friend and PGR member Gregg “Digger” Walker (Walker Family Funeral Services) the family of Peter “Pete” Montes Villalva has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.
Pete was born 29 June 1940 in Los Angeles and entered into Eternal Rest on 31 August 2016.
Pete joined the U.S. Marine Corps proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War Era from October 1958 to October 1962. Pete was a Wireman (MOS 2511) with Radio Relay and Construction Company, 7th Communication Battalion, FMF, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton prior to his discharge. Pete was honorably discharged as a Corporal (E-4).
After his honorable discharge Pete worked in construction for more than thirty-eight years with Universal Studios, in the Hollywood area.
Pete is survived by his wife Gloria, family members and cherished friends.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
