The family of Tolbert Batson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the services of their loved one.  We will be honored to do so.

Tolbert Batson served as a 2nd Cook and Baker in the Merchant Marines during WWII.  His dates of service were from 10-1-1944 to 12-24-1947.

After his military service, Tolbert married, raised two sons, Bucky Jr. and John, and two daughters Linda Derks and Bunny Batson.  He is predeceased by his wife Shirley and sons.  He leaves behind his daughters and daughter in law, Gwynn Mazzie, 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

He worked as a truck driver and loved boating and the Colorado River.
