The family of Darrell Raymond Marriott has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to help honor his life and service to our country.  We are honored to do so.

Darrell served his country as a Captain in the US Army Artillery.  He served in Vietnam and Korea from January 1967 to April 1970.  While in service he was awarded 3 Bronze Stars, one with Valor, the National Defense Medal and the Vietnam Service medal.

While in Vietnam, Darrell was exposed to Agent Orange which caused the cancer resulting in his death.

After his Honorable Discharge from the military Darrell worked in the casino industry for 30 years.  He enjoyed traveling, exploring and panning for gold.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Jia Tamberen, sister, Leanne Njus, daughter Anjala Cariou and two grand daughters.

This is a Combat Related death and dog tags will be available.
