The family of Wayne E. Henderson, 53, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders Military honors for their Hero; it will be our honor to do so.

Wayne E. Henderson served in the United States Air Force from 1984 to 2005.  Wayne was stationed at several bases throughout his career such as ones in Turkey, Germany, Spain and then finally back state side at March Air Force Base before he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant, serving 21 years.

Wayne’s sister Anita said that he enjoyed playing musical instruments in front of live crowds with the Moreno Valley Wind Symphony.  Wayne also loved to help others out whenever he could, which lead him into his medical career working for Kaiser.

The Obituary from his family:

Sometimes we love someone & love is not enough to keep them here with us. Sometimes it doesn't make sense. Sometimes it's not fair, and sometimes it's unexpected. Like now. Unexpectedly we have to say our TTFNs (ta ta for nows) to an amazing man. To some, he was family, blood or not. To some, he was a Hero, but for all of us he was a light in our lives.

Wayne is survived by his Step-father Jose Rodriguez of Moreno Valley, CA; 2 sisters, Judy Brown of Alpine, CA, Anita (Keith) Williams of Moreno Valley, CA; and one brother, John (LeAnn) Puente of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by niece, Marion Weist of Alpine, CA; nephews, James Brown of Riverdale, CA, Anthony and Toby Renner and other nieces and nephews.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
