The family of Howard Arthur “Art” Harmond has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral and military honors for their loved one.  It will be our honor to do so.

Art served with the 101st Airborne as a SGT in Vietnam from 8/25/1965-8/28/1968.  He also was deployed in a Recon Unit while there.  He was awarded the Vietnam Service medal, the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation medal.  While in Vietnam he was exposed to Agent Orange which led to his death.

Art was proceeded in death by his wife.  He is survived by his son, Steven, his daughter Brandi Thompson, two grandchildren and his sister Maie “Sunny” Rice.

This is a Combat Related Death and dog tags will be available.
