The family of George Jason Sparks, age 42, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him for his military service, we are privileged to do so.

George Jason Sparks enlisted in the US Navy November 27, 1995 and served as an aeronautical welder, structural repair IMA technician, and systems organizational career maintenance technician.  He was honorably discharged September 8, 2005 at the rank of AM3.  He received the following awards, Good Conduct medal (2), Global War on Terrorism service medal, National Defense service medal.

George grew up in La Verne, California and returned there after the military.  He worked in aircraft maintenance for the last 10 years before his passing.  He loved cars and spent a lot of time at car shows and working on cars.

George is survived by his father & mother, Jim & Pam Sparks, his sister Laura, uncles Rick & Larry, and cousin Jeffrey.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
