The City of El Segundo has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to lead a procession accompaniment of the Wall that Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  The route will start at Vistamar School, 737 Hawaii St., El Segundo, CA 90245 to a neighboring city along surface streets into Gardena ending at Arthur Lee Johnson Memorial Park, 1200 W. 170th Street, Gardena 90247.  The route will about 9 miles and will be led by CHP.  It will be our privilege to assist in this event.

As part of the festivities, the wall is usually driven in with an 18-wheeler tractor trailer with a parade like atmosphere.  The procession will include motorcycles, Firefighters, Police and Military Vehicles.

The accompaniment will be approximately 20 min from El Segundo to Gardena. A police motor escort will provide rolling stops and road guarding duties, and Baldwin Park Police will coordinate all police activities with all participating municipal agencies.

Please feel free to join at any scheduled stop.
