PART 1 OF A 2-PART MISSION
PART 2 will be posted when details become available.

NOTE:  This mission includes aircraft arrival.  Flight times are subject to last minute changes so please check this thread for any changes before leaving for this mission.

The United States Navy and the family of Katrina A. Anderson have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the airport to the funeral home as she is returned home to her family.  We are privileged to participate.

Petty First Class Officer DC1 Katrina A. Anderson was serving on the USS Mahan (DDG-72) at the time of her passing.

“One of the brightest shining stars in our galaxy, Kat, was a friend and family member to so many people.  Her infectious smile, enormous personality, and unyielding loyalty made her unforgettable.”

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran.  For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the mortuary, approximately 80 miles.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

NOTE:  Dress warm and have rain gear available as there possibly may be rain.
