The family of Robert Lee Small has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the military Honors of their loved one.  We are honored to accept.

Robert Small served his country in the US Navy from 9/1951-8/1955.  He attained the rank of YNY2 prior to his discharge.  He served aboard a ship in the Mediterranean during the Korean war.

After Robert’s discharge he worked as a Histologist at St. Bernardines hospital in San Bernardino.  After he retired from there, he worked at The Greenshack, also in San Bernardino.  He also owned and operated Bob Small’s Painting. His hobbies included reading Western books, collecting maps and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy Small, his son SSG Adam Small, three daughters Mandy Cole, Kerry Ladd and Paula Cobb.  He leaves 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

0900 - Stage at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA; (staging area 4 for family, staging area 8 for PGR)

0915 - Mission Briefing.

0945 - KSU to assigned shelter for Flag Line, Service and Military Honors

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
