The family of Javier Rosales has asked the Patriot Guard to help honor this young Hero for the service to his
Country. It would be our Honor to do so.

Javier was born on August 19, 1967 and was the kind of kid that always wanted to enjoy life and make people laugh whenever he could. When Javier got out of High School he couldn't wait to join the Marine Corps. So that is what he did.

While in the Marine Corps Javier sustained an injury that shattered his leg, and made it impossible to stay on active duty. Javier served from 1986, until his honorable discharge in 1988 attaining the rank of Private.

Javier never married but he considered his two dogs as his family and his kids. He loved his dogs Spike (a doberman) who passed early in life, and Butcher his (pit-bull) who he just loved beyond belief. Javier loved his dogs so much that he even made a portrait of them. Javier and his two buddies went everywhere together.

Javier was always into heavy metal bands, and just loved to listen to music whenever he could.

Javier passed to soon on February 17, 2018 at the age of 50.

Javier is survived by his Mother Amparo Rosales, sisters Juanita Cunningham, Laura Scott, Suzi Simental, brother Guillermo Rosales (Memo), nieces Erka Cunningham, Ashley Scott, Amanda Simental, nephews Tyler Scott, Bryan Cunningham, John Paul Simental, David Rosales, brother in laws Ruben Simental, Mike Griffin, and  sister in law Elsa Rosales.
