The family of SSgt Zachary T. Cox, age 32, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero as he is transferred from a funeral home in Desert Hot Springs to another funeral home in Yucca Valley.  As we will not allow a Hero to travel alone, we will be honored to do so.

SSgt Zachary T. Cox was serving with the US Marine Corps at MCAGCC in Twentynine Palms when he sadly passed away. He had been in the Marine Corps for many years and was currently attached to Marine Corps Communications/Electronics School at the base in Twentynine.

SSgt Cox is survived by his wife, stepchildren, and two children.  Many other family members, friends and his fellow Marines.  He will not be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero approx 21 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
