!!!STANDDOWN!!!STANDDOWN!!!STANDDOWN!!! WE ARE STANDING DOWN AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILYThe family of Donald Zanetta, USMC Veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his service and military honors, we would be privileged to do so.
Donald Zanetta, enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp in 1946. Don served until 1950 in post WWII Japan and was one of the Marines responsible for retaking Alcatraz from the prisoners in 1946.
After being honorably discharged from the Marines he fell in love and married his wife, Don and his wife had two children. He went on to be a successful Sales Agent and member of management for the Automobile Club of Southern California were he retired several years ago. Don was an avid gardener who took great pride in his plants and enjoyed his time with his wife and family.
His nephew, who is a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, has requested that we be there for his uncle.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be standing a flag line for the hero and his family. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
The weather is predicted to be hot please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat, it can made a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
