The family of Jack Russell Fry, 74, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to join them as they bid a final farewell to their hero. We are honored and privileged to fulfill their request.

Jack enlisted in the US Navy in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1971, having archived the rank of RD-2, E5. Our hero spent the majority of his enlistment onboard the Air Craft Carrier, USS Enterprise. Jack was a radar operator and flew many missions over enemy territory in Vietnam, jamming enemy radar signals in advance of US warplane strikes.

As a civilian, Jack worked in Telecommunications. His main hobby was fishing and he loved spending time with his family.

His survived by his wife Betty, a son, Brandon, who has two children, and a daughter Stacey.

Note:  This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero from the family home to the cemetery. Please see the timetable below if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

NOTE: Please observe the latest “COVID-19” restrictions and have a face covering should the need arise.
