Part 2 of 2 Parts

The family of LT Bradley A. Foster, age 29, and the US Navy have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero to his final resting place.  We are honored to do so.

LT Bradley Foster had served for 6 years with the US Navy as a helicopter pilot at the time of his passing.  He was killed aboard a Seahawk helicopter just off the coast of San Diego when a mishap occurred on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier just as the helicopter was taking off.  LT Foster perished along with 4 other crew members.

LT Foster graduated from California University Maritime Academy in 2015. The President of the Academy said this about this Hero: "Brad Foster represents the very best of Cal Maritime,” said President Tom Cropper, “both during time his time at our academy and later in his service to the nation. Enthusiastic, optimistic, and mature beyond his years, Brad took the road less traveled. I, like so many others in the Cal Maritime family, am heartbroken. We send our condolences, love, and support to his wife Beth and daughter Audrey and all of his family. Though too short, we celebrate his well lived life and hold his memory dear.”

Lt. Foster was a pilot and one of crew members aboard an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter conducting routine flight operations from USS Abraham Lincoln when it crashed into the sea approximately 60 nautical miles off the coast of San Diego at 4:30 p.m. (PST), Aug. 31.

LT Foster is survived by his wife and daughter and many other family members, friends and fellow men and women he served with in the Navy.  He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
