Per request of our good friend and PGR member Gregg “Digger” Walker (Walker Family Funeral Services), the family of Col. Clifford E. Keys Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Clifford was born in Burbank on 01 July 1928 and entered into Eternal Rest on 19 August 2018 in Myerstown, Pennsylvania.

He moved to Pennsylvania to be near his daughter Anne.

Clifford proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army in both Korea and Vietnam earning his Jump Wings while with the Airborne Division. Clifford earned two Master’s Degrees and his Doctorate and during his military service he served as a Chaplain. Clifford honorably retired after thirty-one years of active duty as a Colonel.

Following his military retirement Clifford went on to work in the Pentagon for another ten years.

Clifford was an honorable, proud American, Veteran and citizen.

Clifford is survived by daughter Anne and two sons Michael and Kelly. He also leaves behind three children from his wife’s first marriage as well as some grandchildren. Clifford is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie who died in 2009 and whose services were also were also handled by Walker Family Funeral Services.
