The family of Christopher Fox have asked the Patriot Guard to accompany them as their loved one and hero makes his final journey from Tehachapi to Bakersfield National Cemetery. We are honored to be able to fulfill their request.
Christopher passed peacefully in his home in June of this year after an extended battle with a prolactinoma brain tumor. Christopher was a Los Angeles native and was known for his love of airplanes, serving his country and a sense of humor with his incessant puns. Mark served in the Air Force shortly after graduating high school, serving for four years and serving many in the reserves. He was a Munitions Specialist and was awarded the AF Outstanding Unit Award, AF Good Conduct Medal, AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, and Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.
After his active duty service, he held various jobs as a truck driver, but he found his calling back with the Air Force as a airplane mechanic at Edwards Airforce Base where his skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence carried over into a career spent ensuring air craft safety and reliability.
In his spare time he spent time with his beloved dogs, airplanes, computers and playing cards.
He married his wife in February of this year. Their marriage brought brought great happiness, and her devoted care and support were a source of comfort throughout his illness.
Mark is survived by his wife, Judy, his father and step mother - Victor and Kathy Fox; his brother - Jeff (Carrie) Fox - his sister-Shannon( Eric) Nore; and Kendall Nore; his nephew - Grant Fox; and many others chosen family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Leslie E. Savin.
Mark will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his work, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His Memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to participate in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, where you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car).
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
