  • Harley riding grandma who loves Jesus!
The family of Edward “Eddie” Palos II has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his military honors.  We are honored to fulfill their request.

Eddie was born on April 24 1989 in Torrance, CA and passed away on June 28, 2025 at the age of 36 at The Woodlands, TX.

Eddie proudly served his country as a United States Marine, and his valor was recognized with a Purple Heart Afghanistan Campaign Medal (w/2 stars) as well as a Combat Action Ribbon (Afghanistan) and Global War on Terror Medal.  He was honorably discharged at the rank of Lance Corporal (E-3).

Beyond his military accolades, Eddie was a graduate of West Coast University and dedicated his career to saving lives as a respected Registered Nurse in a Trauma ICU.  His colleagues admired him for his intelligence, determination, and unyielding drive.

Those who knew Eddie will fondly remember his adventurous spirit and love for Harley Davidson rides. He was a man who lived life to the fullest, always ready for the next challenge and never shying away from helping someone in need. His humor and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

At home, Eddie's heart was devoted to his family.  As a loving husband to Chantelle and a doting father to Audriana, he filled their lives with laughter and love. His parents, Patricia and Edward, were endlessly proud of the man he became, a testament to their nurturing and support.  Eddie will also be missed by his sister, Erika, and many other family members and friends.

Eddie’s only wish was to be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery if he should pass before his beloved wife.  That will take place within the next couple of months.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our heroes.  No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service.  Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.  Observe the 15 MPH speed limit.  Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground.  Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
