Risher Mortuary and the family of Miguel Arrendondo have invited the Patriot Guard Riders, to be present for his Final Honors. It will be our Honor and Privilege to do so.

Miguel proudly served in the U.S. Army, from 9/1967 – 9/1970, achieving the rank of SP-5.
Medals awarded during his time of service.
National Defense Service, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign, Good Conduct, Bronze Star,
Expert Badge M-16, Sharpshooter M-14, 2 Overseas Bars.

Miguel worked for over 30 years as a Security Guard for the Casinos in Las Vegas.
Miguel was an avid movie fan. He loved old westerns, military films and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by his son Gabriel and daughter-in-law Marisa, four grandchildren and his first great grandchild, who will be here in a few months, and two sisters.

Funeral blessing will take place at St Benedicts Catholic Church,1022 Cleveland Ave, Montebello, Ca, 90640, at 0930 Hrs. 
After Mass, Burial will take place at 1100 Hrs., at Rose Hills Cemetery, with Final Military Honors.

Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested and all PGR members are welcome. We will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the Church to the cemetery, (approx. 6 miles). Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. If you prefer to meet the procession at the cemetery, please feel free to do so.

0945 – Mission Briefing

1015 – Flag Line as Hero is brought out of Church and placed in coach.

1020 – KSU to Rose Hills Cemetery, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, Ca 90601 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dFGwwojSd41CH43G9)

1100 – Final Military Honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there, by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
