The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of Robert G. Hill Jr., 83, to accompany our hero at the conclusion of his church service to his final resting place in Cathedral City.  It is our honor to fulfill their wishes.

Robert was born on 09 Jun 1941 and was called to our Lord on 02 Feb 2025.  Robert served in the United States Army from 23 October to 1959 to 10 October 1965 until his honorable discharge.  Robert was stationed in Germany as a dental assistant.

Upon returning to civilian life, Robert went to Seattle University and graduated in 1967.  Like his father, he became a Real Estate Appraiser in the Orange County area for 48 years.  To Robert, it was all about family he dedicated himself to raising his son and two daughters.

Robert was a member of the American Legion.  He supported his fellow veterans and contributed to Tunnel to Towers and to The Wounded Warriors Project.  Robert loved riding his bike and spending time with his family at their Green Valley cabin here in our local mountains.

Robert is survived by his wife of 41 years, Laurie Hill; son, Robert; and daughters Deborah and Elizabeth.  Robert was also blessed with four granddaughters so he was very much surrounded by women in his life.  He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
