Please see the attached Letter of Appreciation from the City of Downey Chief of Police for our participation in the services for USMC Veteran and Downey Police Officer Ricky Galvez which reads in part:

The Patriot Guard Riders were an instrumental part of making Ricky's burial special and their presence was comforting and uplifting.  I appreciate their display of support during this devastating time.

On behalf of Ricky's family, and the men and women of the Downey Police Department, please thank your representatives for participating in Ricky's funeral and for representing your organization so well.  We are very grateful.
