The family of David Raymond Lass, 65, has invited the Patriot Guard to be there with them as they bid a final good-bye to their hero, and we are proud to be there with them.

David proudly served his country in the United States Army. His years of service were from  April 18, 1970 - April 13, 1976. Part of his time in the Army he served in Korea.

He earned the rank of SP4 at the time of his honorable discharge.

After his service, David went to work for the Vons Grocery chain as a truck driver and did so for 27 years. During his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and anything outdoors.

David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is survived by his loving wife , mother, 2 daughter and 4 grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there.
