The family of SPC Enrique Roman-Martinez, 21, and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for the arrival of their Hero as he returns home to his family for burial, it will be our honor to do so.

SPC Enrique Roman-Martinez was serving with the 82nd Airborne Division’s Headquarters Company, 37th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Ft Bragg, SC when he sadly passed away.  He was a dedicated soldier who did an outstanding job and was awarded the following, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Army Parachutist Badge.

SPC Roman-Martinez is survived by his family, friends and fellow soldiers and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  He will not be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the mortuary, approx 42 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
