The family of Bonnie Lee Gross, AKA Bonnie Lee, United States Army, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one on her final journey. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Bonnie was born in the Borough of Audubon, Camden County, New Jersey on 05 February 1947 and entered into Eternal Rest in Long Beach on 04 June 2020.

At sixteen years old Bonnie enlisted in the U.S. Army and worked as a Cryptographer during the Vietnam War Era. Her awards/citations included the National Defense Service Medal. Bonnie was honorably discharged in August 1966 as a SP4(T) E-4.

At the time of her honorable discharge, Bonnie relocated to California.

Bonnie struggled with alcohol, but in 2004 she joined the fellowship of recovery. She was very active in the AA community, attending conventions whenever possible. She shared her experience, strength, and hope, giving back what she had been given.

In the last two years, Bonnie fought hard and brave against medical conditions that stumped even doctors. With each setback, she fought back to the bewilderment of all.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Angel, Melinda, Melody, and Roman. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren.
