The family of William Gority have invited the Patriot Guard to pay respects to this American Hero, It will be our Honor to do so.

William or Bill as he like to be called finished high school and joined the United States Army on Dec. 12, 1967.Bill  served 2 yrs. getting his Honorable discharge on Oct. 26, 1969. During Bill's time in the Army he attained the rank of Sp4 / E4. Bill also served in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive, earning himself the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Combat Service Medal.

When Bill got out of the service he went to work for Northrup Grumman for the next 24 yrs. As well as being a hard worker Bill loved to play softball. He played in various Orange County leagues for many years.

Bill also loved Rock n' Roll music.He was always going to rock concerts. Bill also loved to watch all the sports channels and cheering on his favorite football team the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bill was vary laid back and also loved to enjoy new dishes of food. He loved seafood, and steak the most.

Bill had a great sense of humor and was a sweet and down to earth kind of guy.

Unfortunately Bill was also exposed to Agent Orange which eventually led to his passing. Bill ended up in Loma Linda where he passed on Tuesday 16 Jan. with his family by his side.

There will be Dog Tags on this mission

Bill leaves behind his loving wife Sharon, a daughter Melissa, step son Bryan, daughter in law Vanessa, sisters, Cathy, Cindy Robin, Tina ,Brother in laws: Terry, Mark, Larry and many nieces and nephews.

NOTE:[/b] This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

NOTE: You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).
