The family of Donald Andrew Cvek has invited the Patriot Guard to Honor this Korean War Veteran, it would be our distinct Honor to do so.

After finishing school Donald went into the service to Honor his Country during the Korean War. He not only served two years in the United States Army, he also served four years in the United States Navy.

Donald was honorably discharged from the Army at the rank of PFC( E-3) and from the Navy at the rank of SN(E -3).

After Donald’s time in the service to his Country, he got a job working at West Anaheim Medical Center where he devoted 32 years of his life. Donald was a surgical room transporter. He truly loved his job and he loved to make people happy.

In Donald’s down time he enjoyed watching sports, reading the newspaper, and listening to AM radio in the evening.

His best times though were watching his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews play sports.

Donald enjoyed cooking and buying the latest kitchen gadgets. He always made people feel at home whether they were a longtime friend, or a brand new acquaintance.

Donald leaves behind his wife Barbara, his three children, Deborah Parton, Rebecca Mott, and Sandra Eames. He is also survived by his brothers George and Ted, sister Margaret Rogin, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
