The family of Robert Dyckman has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Robert served honorably for the duration of WWII from August 1942 to January 1946 including action in the Philippines and New Guinea. He was awarded the Bronze Arrowhead Victory Medal, given for those that had been involved in amphibious assaults. Other citations included the Asiatic - Pacific Theatre Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal and the American Theatre Service Medal. He had attained the rank of Technician 5th grade at discharge.
