The family of David Ray Smith have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to our country. It will be our privilege to do so.

David enlisted in the U.S. Army on 25APR56 and was honorably discharged on 30JUN63. He saw duty in Korea and Vietnam, and was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.

David’s passion after completion of his service was sports, especially the teams fielded by USC. He loved going to games with the family and doing outdoor activities with his children and grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife, three children, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
