The family of Dale Wesley Neugart has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Dale was born in Brigham City, Utah on January 29, 1945 and entered into Eternal Rest on October 26, 2015.

After graduating from Westminster High School, Dale joined the U.S. Navy proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1970. Dale served aboard the USS Jerome County LST 848 and the USS Westchester County LST 1167.  Included in the numerous citations/awards that Dale received were the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon.

After his honorable discharge as a SA, from the Navy, using his military training Dale became a Supervisor SC1 with the California Correctional System retiring in 2003.

Dale’s favorite pastimes included fishing, camping, bowling, playing bingo and spending time with his family and friends.

Dale is survived by his wife of forty-three years Donna, and children Victoria, Kimberly, David and Shawn. Dale also leaves behind his mother and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember to post your condolences for the family to this link:  https://www.patriotguard.org/showthread.php?410582

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
