The family of Jackie Mack Huppert has request the Patriot Guard to pay Honors to this American Hero for his services in Vietnam. It will be our Honor to do so.

Jackie was born on December 22, 1936 in Germany to parents Henry and Helen Huppert. They were not a rich family by any means but they were very rich in the love and care they had for their children, family, and friends.

The Huppert family moved to the United States from Germany and quickly adapted to loving the United States.

Jackie joined the Army in 1959 at the age of 23. During Jackie’s time in the Army he was stationed with the 142nd Signal Battalion 2nd Armored Division. Jackie qualified as an expert shooter with the M-14 and Marksman with the automatic rifle.

After Jackie’s active duty time was up he went into the Army Reserves and was assigned to the Control Group as a Sgt. Tech. 5 radio operator.

Upon transition to civilian life Jackie went to work for the Veterans Administration Department where he worked the next 32 years of his life in their warehouse until his retirement. Jackie retired as a supervisor at the very place he called home. He loved his Vets.

Jackie passed from this life on December 5, 2015. He passed 17 days before his 79th birthday.

Jackie leaves behind his wife Beatriz, and daughters Lina and Rebecca and one brother Jules.
