The family of MSgt. Robert Clinton have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to pay Honors on their hero's final journey home. It will be our honor to do so.

Robert was 75 years old at the time of his death. He was born March 23, 1943 and passed away on October 7, 2018.

Robert served in the United States Air Force from June 1, 1964 to May 31, 1968.  He was trained as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician.  Robert spent a year deployed in Vietnam.

Among his awards for his Vietnam Service were the National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross.

Robert transferred from the Air Force to the Air National Guard in Idaho, and served 25 years until his retirement.  He retired as a Master Sergeant.

For the last five months of Roberts' service he was deployed to Iraq in support of Southern Watch, the patrolling of the No-Fly zone in Iraq.

Awards receive for his time in the Air National Guard include the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and many more.

Robert was a co-owner of the Biker Wear House located at Cook's Corner.

He is survived by his wife Julie, and nieces Beth and Kathie.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
