The family of Cpl Cesar A. Villanueva, 21, and the U.S. Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor him for his service to our country at his funeral services, we would be honored to be there.

Cpl Villanueva was serving with the US Marine Corps and currently assigned to Bravo Company, BLT 1/4, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) when he sadly perished with other Marine brothers during a training accident aboard an Amphibious Vehicle that went down off the coast of So California on July 30, 2020. He had been serving his country for approx 4 years at the time of his passing.

Cesar is described as as a kind, respectable person who was very outgoing. "He was calm and outgoing. He wanted to enter the Marines because he wanted to serve his country," said his mother.

Cpl. Cesar Villanueva, 21, of Riverside was a newlywed. Sarah, his wife of one month, says her husband was a beautiful soul.
"He was more than just a man in uniform. He was a great guy, the greatest person I ever got a chance to meet," she said.
