The family of Master Chief Ben Allen Secor has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to accompany him from his home in Rancho Bernardo to Greenwood Memorial Park and to be present as he receives Military Honors for his service to our country. It would be our honor to do so.

Ben served in the U.S. Navy from August 1st 1950 until his retirement and honorable discharge on August 1st, 1980.

In the Navy Ben was an HMCM. He loved serving his country. Ben served in the Korean War, Vietnam War and Bay of Pigs Invasion. Ben helped a lot of Marines and Navy Troops in battle. He saved so many lives, it’s our privilege to honor Ben's life.

He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign with Device in 1960, Meritorious Unit Commendation, RVN Meritorious Unit Citation Gallantry Cross, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and his seventh Good Conduct Award for period ending November 15,1977.

Ben's hobbies included traveling, music, reading and fishing. He loved working around the house and he was a Volunteer Sheriff.

Ben loved all his family from his loving wife Margaret Maguire-Secore to all his children, James Maguire, Kathy Villalobos, Judane Clark, Karen Price and his many grandchildren.
