The family of David Raul Carreon has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.  It will be our honor to do so.

David was born on July 3, 1948 and passed on July 13, 2020.  He was 73 years old at the time of his passing.

He served in the U.S. Army from April 1968 to April 1970.  His rank was Spec 4 (E4) at the time of his honorable discharge from military service.  David was stationed in Germany as a Radio Teletype Operator.  He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Sharpshooter M-14 badge.

As a civilian, he worked in construction for 30 years as a Lather.  His hobbies included watching his grandkids play sports and family visits.

He is survived by his spouse, Margueritte; daughter, Delaine Cates; son, David Carreon, Jr.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.  He is also survived by one brother and two sisters.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes.  No talking, smoking or cell phone usage during the flag line or service.  Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.  Observe the 15 MPH speed limit.  Mostly, remember that cemeteries are hallowed ground.  Show respect to all who are there, not just the Hero we are honoring.
