The family of Dale Oliver Campbell has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to his nation.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Dale Oliver Campbell was born September 2, 1938 in Buffalo New York and entered his eternal rest on October 13, 2020 at age 82.

Right after high school, Dale joined the United States Air Force as a Jet Mechanic in 1956. After he completed his four years, he was honorably discharged in 1959.

Dale settled in Detroit after the military, and worked as a Kirby Vacuum cleaner salesman. He became a top salesman and in 1962 even won a car for his top sales.

While working for Kirby, Dale met the love of his life, Gigi, when she was just 17. They married in 1966 and enjoyed 54 years together. In 1978 Dale and Gigi moved to California, living first in Los Angeles, with Dales parents, then shortly after moving to San Diego. Dale then entered the construction industry and started his own business.

Dale was a great athlete and enjoyed playing multiple sports including golf. At one point he was a pro at the Montecito Country Club. He was also an avid Harley Rider. Gigi and Dale also shared a love for dogs. Dale was very much a perfectionist with tremendous drive who would work day and night.  Dale, after working construction, went on to work as a long-haul truck driver. After truck driving, he even continued to drive for Lyft into his 80’s.

Dale and Gigi never had children, he will be missed dearly by his wife and all who knew him.

NOTE: Please note that this is a Flag Line Only mission, the rules of only 10 Patriot Guard members will still apply.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
