The Gary Sinise Foundation is a foundation dedicated to the American Military Heroes.  They do many different things to benefit Veterans and the PGR has been fortunate to be included in many of those events including Hollywood Salutes Veterans and Soaring Valor.

They have most recently raised money to build a home for SSgt Jason Ross, USMC, Wounded Warrior.

Here is a video about our Hero:  http://www.military.com/video/forces/marine-corps/combat-marine-gets-heros-welcome/2330540199001/

U.S.M.C. Staff Sergeant Jason Ross, a native of Livermore, CA, and graduate of
Granada High School, joined the United States Marine Corps in 2001. After
returning from his tour in Japan in 2004, he re-enlisted to a new field —
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). He was then deployed twice to Afghanistan
between 2009 and 2011.

In 2011, Jason nearly lost his life when he stepped on an Improvised Explosive
Device (IED). As a result of the blast Jason lost both of his legs. Originally given
a 2% chance of survival, he spent the next three years in and out of the hospital,
undergoing over 200 surgeries. Jason was treated at both Walter Reed National
Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and later at the Naval Medical Center
in San Diego, CA.

This mission will be to accompany the Hero and his family to the location of his new home.  The PGR was there in January when the groundbreaking took place, we are honored to be there when he is presented with his new home!

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the staging area to the location of his new home. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
