The family of Woodrow Wilson Bryan has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Woodrow was a proud member of the Greatest Generation and served in the US Army, Jan 19, 1943 to Dec 12, 1945.  In WW2 he landed at Normandy and fought in Eastern Europe. Woodrow was awarded the EAME Theatre Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Ribbon and Clasp Victory Medal WW2.

Woodrow worked as a shoe salesman in Ohio and in San Diego until he retired in 1993 at the age of 70.  He was a devoted Catholic practicing his faith. He spent his retirement traveling to visit his large family, and to attend many Bryan family reunions. His hobbies included dancing, watching the Padres, playing cards, and being with friends and family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Woodrow was preceded in death by his loving wife Marilyn Burkhardt Bryan. He is survived by his five children, William, David, Martin, Christopher, and Elizabeth, as well as 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
