The friends of Woodrow Riddle have asked the PGR to participate in his final trip back to his home state of California for his service, Honors, and interment. He will be coming in from Arizona to his final resting place in Riverside. We have been asked to help get our brother home and to be his family.  It will be our Honor to do so.

Woodrow Riddle was a member of Tiger Force – 1/327th Infantry, 101st Airborne while serving in Vietnam.  During his service, he was awarded the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Ribbon, the Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, NDSM, Parachute Badge, Presidential Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Honors Medal (1st Class), CIB, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Commendation Medal, and Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation.

Although Woodrow died without a “family”, he kept in touch with his family from the Military, some of whom will be at his services.

Woodrow trained security dogs for many years, as that was his passion.

Woodrow passed away in Arizona but wished to be buried in California.  Our Arizona PGR brothers are bringing him home, and we will be there with them to honor this Vietnam Hero.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
