The Patriot Guard Riders been invited to assist in a very special mission.  The Wolfpack Marines are a battalion of Marines stationed at the Marine base in 29 Palms.  The Wolfpack Marine Unit is a highly decorated battalion, and have had numerous combat casualties in conflict.

There are 27 Gold Star families who have lost their Wolfpack Heroes as well as numerous current and alumni members of the Wolfpack having a reunion this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.  As part of their memorial and reunion they are visiting the battalion at the Marine Base in 29 Palms.  They have asked the PGR to accompany them to their destination.  We are honored to be able to participate in this historic event.

The Nevada PGR will be accompanying the multiple bus convoy from Las Vegas to Amboy, Ca.  The SoCal PGR will meet with the group in Amboy and after a short rest break for them in Amboy, we will accompany them the remainder of the way to the 29 Palms MCAGCC base.

The PGR will not be allowed on base but anyone with a “blue card” (military ID or gov't ID) will be allowed to enter the base to witness the event.  There will be items on base that are only provided for the event participants.  The USO will be providing meals for the families and alumni only so if you want to go onto the base you’ll need to provide your own food and drink.

If you want to meet the arrival of the accompaniment at the base visitor’s center please review the below time lines for arrival at the base.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in this mission. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying these Gold Star Families to their destination. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
