The family of Angel Kilongan has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to pay Honors to their Hero. It will be our distinct Honor to do so.

Angel was born in the Philippines, and when he came of age decided to serve in the United States Army.

Angel served with the Army for 2 yrs, from Oct 1960 to Sept 1962. During those 2 yrs. Angel was promoted to Corporal.

Cpl Kilongan was deployed to Korea where he served most of his time in support of the War in Vietnam. During that time he found solace in reading the Bible and doing a lot of studying of the word. Angel also attained a Rifleman's badge, and a marksman badge for long range.

Angel and Adeline also lost a Grandson, LCpl Abraham Simpson, on November 9, 2004 in the battle of Fallujah, one of the bloodiest battles the Marines had faced in Iraq. He was taken too soon at the age of 19, he was an infantryman for 15 months. Military runs deep in this family.

When Angel was discharged with an Honorable discharge he went to work for the Post Office and continued to work for the United States Postal Service for 37 years of service until retirement.

Upon retirement he loved to spend time with his bride Adeline of 45 years. He also loved tinkering with cars, watching the Lakers, and becoming an avid student of the Bible. He also traveled back to his homeland of the Philippines to visit.

Angel leaves behind a loving family, his wife of 45 yrs. Adeline, daughter Sandra of Germany, step-daughter Maria Simpson, 8 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.
