The family of Robert Fermin Tristan, 69, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the accompaniment and services of their loved one and to honor this American Hero; we are honored to do so.

Mr. Tristan enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in September 1961. He served as a rifleman and was honorably discharged in February 1973 as a Private First Class.

In civilian life he worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed listening to oldies music and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his son Bobby, his daughters Mickey, Veronica, and Maria, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

RNC ONLY: Park your bikes at staging area #8.

Please arrive quietly at Arlington Mortuary as service will be in progress.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car)
