It is an honor the family of Elias Reyes, Jr. invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral services and military honors.

 

In 2004 Elias joined the Marines right out of high school to fight the war on terrorism. Elias honorably served as an Infantry Assault-man, Weapons Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, serving two deployments in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Corporal Reyes was honorably discharged in 2008.

 

After his discharge, Elias attended UCLA and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy in 2012.  Pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor, Elias moved to Albany, CA. to complete his Post Baccalaureate in Life Sciences.

 

Elias is survived by his mother, Maria Jauregui; father, Elias Reyes; Brothers, Mario Reyes  (Marine and currently Air Force) & Rosario Reyes; sisters, Margarita Reyes, Irene Kaludi & Elizabeth Trysonoplus.

 

Note:  This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran.  For those interested all are welcome.  We will accompany the hero and his family from St. Catherine of Alexandria Church to Riverside National Cemetery.  Please see time table if you would like to participate.  For those that would rather go directly the cemetery, we will meet you there.

 

Please arrive quietly as church services will be in progress.

1245 -  KSU to assigned shelter for flag line and military honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
