The Command of the Army National Guard, 216th Mobile Augmentation Company (MAC) asks the Patriot Guard Riders to welcome home their brave soldiers from their deployment.

For the past nine months these soldiers have lived in an environment very different from the one you and I are fortunate to wake up to each morning.

So, bring your flags and smiles and let's show them and their families how much the PGR and a grateful nation appreciates what they do for us every day.

Note:  This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this National Guard Unit.  For those interested all are welcome.

Note: This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving.

Time Table for 3 JUN 14

1900 hrs  Stage at Katella Deli, 4470 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos, CA 90720

1915 hrs  Mission Briefing

1930 hrs  KSU to arrival site

2000 hrs  Flag line and welcome home our heroes.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Each motorcycle rider must have registration, and proof of insurance. Also necessary are, hard sole shoes, long pants, full-fingered gloves, a long sleeve outer garment, eye protection, and a DOT helmet. A brightly colored reflective vest is no longer needed but recommended. Please have your I.D. ready when you arrive at the gate.

Due to OPSEC (Operational Security) limitations which involve troop movements and on-base activities, exact details of this mission will be explained at the "Mission Briefing" only.
