On Wednesday, 8 Apr 2015, eight American Heroes will be brought to Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518 for burial.

Four (4) of the vets will be transported by the Los Angeles County Coroner to Riverside.

These vets are:

Eads Jr, William, 75, USA, CW

Jackson, Thomas, 71, USAF, VN

Panas, Edward, 96, USA, WWII

Quinn, John, 67, USMC, VN

Another four (4) vets will be transported to Riverside by Dignity’s Rose Hills Mortuary.

These vets are:

Leekley, Wesley, 78, USN, CW

Richardson, Cornelius, 95, USA, WW II

Ray, Ernest, 75, USA, VN

Pupadich, Nick, 70, USA, VN

We will also recognize those veterans that have been brought to RNC within the past week for direct burial without final honors.

The PGR will be there to be the family for these veterans and will stand by while military honors are rendered by the California National Guard Honor Team at Riverside National Cemetery.

The group from Rose Hills is scheduled to depart from 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601 at 1000 hrs.

May the souls of these vets rest in peace beneath the green carpet of grass in a Nation they helped to keep free.

They are not alone, we are their family.

“If we cannot do him honor while he’s here to hear the praise,

Then at least let’s give him homage at the ending of his days.

Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,

Our Country is in mourning for a soldier died today.”

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans.
