The family of Harry Edmund Crandell, has invited the Patriot Guard to honor their loved one with honors and respect. We are honored to accept their invitation.

Harry served in the U.S. Navy enlisted in 1947 and was honorably discharged in 1951. and served in the Korean War.

After his military service, he did many jobs throughout his life. He spent most of his career as a delivery driver. One of his most interesting activities was driving a train for the hundreds of tourists in Calico Ghost Town. He also had his pilot's license and owned many small planes throughout his life, He crashed twice and survived both.  In his later years he loved going to the Parachuting grounds in Perris, CA and watching the jumpers, He would watch the parachutists sometimes 7 days a week, all day.

Harry’s wife Glenda preceded him in death. Harry is survived by his son, Edmund, 2 step-daughters Sandy & Jackie and 3 grandchildren & numerous step-grandchildren.

Harry was cremated when he passed in Oct 2017, He is interred in a columbarium at Riverside National Cemetery.  The family has recently requested his military honors and service along with our flag line of honor.
